Fancy Dress Heaven Sponsors the Big Dress Up Charity Event

The Big Dress-Up or the World's Biggest Halloween Dress-Up is based on a similar concept to the highly successful 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning', where over 50,000 people took part in individual coffee mornings on the same day, raising £7.5M for Macmillan last year, with an even higher target this year.

With the World's Biggest Halloween Dress-Up children and adults all over the country will be dressing up for Halloween and other events around this time. The money raised goes to individual schools and charities and simply comes from the Fancy Dress costumes bought from us for the occasion.

We donate 10% of the amounts paid for costumes and accessories between now and 31st October 2008 to the cause chosen by the purchaser.

Many people will have been given a voucher code by a school or charity they support. But even if you have not been given a code, you can still help others by choosing one of the charities listed opposite and entering the corresponding code when you check out on the web site. Fancy Dress Heaven on Virgin 1.

Fancy Dress Heaven have been helping Virgin 1 who are currently producing a fun and incisive film for Virgin 1 covering the topic of the British and their love lives. As a nation us Brits are supposedly the most sexually repressed in Europe, but is this really true? This documentary will find the answers as to why we as a nation are apparently lagging behind our European counterparts in the bedroom in a fun, humorous way. Virgin 1 have commissioned a survey amongst lovers of different nations and we will be taking a look at the results and attempting to challenge the stereotypes found.

Content will include interviews with experts such as sex therapists, psychologists and journalists. We will feature celebrity talking heads giving their opinion on the topic and, interspersed with this, we will be meeting British couples who live up to the stereotype as they attend boutique workshops and talk openly and honestly about their relationships. Virgin 1 will also be speaking to a mix of European men and women on why they are so highly rated as lovers. The presenter is Olivia Lee (Balls of Steel, Channel 4) and Virgin 1 will be filming at major landmarks across London and on location in Brighton

Virgin's documentary features filming with 3 lovely couples in locations across the UK who wish to inject a spark into their relationships including beautiful food such as figs and asparagus to lingerie and massage oils and of course featuring dressing up in Fancy Dress from Fancy Dress Heaven.

It looks as though the film survey show that Germans are fond of dressing up in the bedroom and so Virgin 1's producers provided their couples with outfits and props from Fancy Dress Heaven so that they could experiment with role-play with Lederhosen Top Hats, Viking's Helmets,  doctor's sets and teacher's canes. The program makers tell us that it was all in the best possible taste and not sleazy - just injecting some fun into the programme to contrast with the more serious tone that the experts will provide during interviews.
